If this was just an article criticizing identify politics, that'd be one thing, but to identify it as a byproduct of capitalism is shortsighted and dishonest. Socialism has grasped with its own identity politics in every single socialist country: race, gender, ethnicity, and religion. These things don't just go away. And sure, it wouldn't be the " capitalist elites" pushing these items ....it would be the political elites and beurocractic resource managers (i.e. the nomenklatura) that would use the SAME EXACT POLITICS to sew class division (i.e. divide and conquer - exploit the differences of the opposition to prevent the formation of a unified resistance to any sort of political elite). It can also be used to solidify power for the political elite - for example, when Stalin deported certain ethnic groups ( Chechins, Crimean Tartars, etc) by labeling them as "counter-revolutionaries"). It can be used to marginalize dissenters, label them as "not true socialists", and accuse them of treason for not aligning with the class in solidarity.

Socialism isn't some magical fix to the world and will come with its own nightmarish list of shortcomings.

It's not like Trump would have done anything different than Biden, given Trump's history with COVID-19.

RFK Jr. is going to be heading the Dept. of Health and Human Services....which establishes national vaccine rollout programs. He's an anti-vaxxer. He will do everything in his power to see that any vaccine programs are extremely difficult to rollout if not impossible to establish. Your best bet will likely be full masks and isolation (i.e. 2020 again).

I can't think of a single modern day liberal that would....but alright.

Oh....that will change. Most people that are progressive enough to purchase electric vehicles are not buying new Tesla's. I mean, hell, look at the regret that some people have over it ("I purchased this before Elon went crazy!", etc.).

Most people that are making that kind of money are pretty smart. They have multiple investment strategies, multiple places that they store their money, and typically have some sort of easily accessible nest egg (like a mutual fund or crypto). I guarantee about 3/4 of them have enough to last AT LEAST 6-8 months without a job before things started getting a little tight.

If your living within your means and making that kind of money, you don't really have to worry about losing a job or things breaking down, or other big issues (short of medical emergencies).

Yeah, a LOT of people will technically be a "millionaire" by the time they are his age, when you consider property and investments. Hell, most engineers, doctors, lawyers, and such will also have about the same level of net worth, if not more.

We've all agreed that cunt is not suitable to describe him as, per the Internet, "a cunt has warmth and depth"...two qualities that Elon clearly fucking lacks.

I mean. Heck, if you have a terminal illness I don't see the downsides really.
