  • Also get audiobook versions in case reading books gets uncomfy. Wishing you a speedy recovery! ๐Ÿ’ช

  • I love this, now I wish the devs officially picked the term "burrow" instead of "community".

  • Well why are they working with Iran then?

A case of "the enemy of my enemy is also my friend". That they're too different ideologically doesn't mean they can't work together when they're not on the same soil.

  • Yeah that's a bit counterintuitive but perfectly makes sense when you remember that Hamas originated from the Muslim Brotherhood, which is Sunni.

  • Sorry I never heard that term, what do you call "file opener portal"? Not sure if it's the same thing we're talking about but it's where you select the photo (or video) you want to upload when you haven't granted the app permission to access all your photos and videos.

Good to know about Fennec and Mull!

  • I think I saw somewhere that one could setup something similar using an AWS instance with a gaming GPU and some opensource app for the streaming part? Has someone tried that? How does it compare in terms of costs to NVidia's GeForce Now?

  • A friend from Lebanon basically explained to me the exact same thing, it's not that they don't want Palestinians, it's that they know Hamas will 100% enter Lebanon as refugees, and add to that the centuries old conflict between Shia and Sunni Muslims (Hezbollah is Shia while Hamas is Sunni) and you have your answer.

  • Wow sorry, that's good to know. I didn't know the launcher could also be used with Honkai. I've been playing Genshin Impact for close to two months with that launcher and I haven't been banned yet, it could be that Honkai's checks are stricter?

It's basically an interactive Python session using a Python interpreter compiled to WebAssembly and which then runs locally on your device via your browser without having to install anything on your end.

It's very cool to check some calculation out very quickly on your phone or tablet.

Or if you want a full local Jupyterlab experience using the same WebAssembly tech: https://jupyterlite.readthedocs.io/en/stable/_static/lab/index.html (based on the JupyterLite project: https://github.com/jupyterlite/jupyterlite)

  • Not sure about the latest version, but it definitely works with Proton, google an anime game launcher (it's likely against the TOS as there's no kernel-side anti-cheat and telemetry gets disabled but so far no one got banned).

  • Wait, so their excuse for hiking prices before was that they were losing money because people were sharing their accounts, so they "had to" hike the prices for those who subscribed to "compensate" for that. Now that they succeeded in their crackdown on password-sharing, which means more subscribers in theory, they figured that they still need to hike prices again? Someone please show me the logic here?

  • Full headline is "Israel-Hamas war: At least 500 people killed in hospital bombing in Gaza, Palestinian officials claim", which is very different from the misleading title written by OP, which also breaks rule #1 about the post format of this community. OP maliciously added his own opinion to the title despite there being two versions, one by Hamas accusing Israel and one by Israel accusing Hamas.

  • Not just the Israel-Hamas war, when you criticize the CCP in that community you get banned for "orientalism". That modlog is hilariously full of "bothsidesing" and "orientalism", but that's a problem with the whole instance which is leaning towards tankism.

  • it's probably just a water gun that serves as a bidet

  • trying to make the package arrive through the Force
