  • Well, there's that, and also because (in the case of World) it's the largest single site employer in the country - whatever they're paying is literally the minimum wage everyone else can get away with paying, because Disney is always hiring for something and the vast majority of people can just go work there if they'd make more money. Their unions try, but Orlando is fucked.

  • If it's the ad I'm thinking of, I actually kinda liked it. But I definitely agree with you on the safety razors. Better shave and better for the planet. Don't buy plastic cartridge razors, you're getting ripped off and needlessly contributing to the plastic problem. Now if only I could find blades that a 100 pack didn't mean 20 plastic 5-packs of blades, but it still is a lot less waste than a cartridge razor.

  • This article is in regards to medical marijuana. I think, for many medical marijuana patients it's not worth the risk to the fetus, but I don't think it's always so clear cut. If it's being used to prevent seizures, for example, changing medications for that is probably more harmful to the mother and the child than continuing with the cannabis. Doctors make calls like this all the time - psych meds are a common "bad for the fetus, but worse for everyone concerned if discontinued" case.

Honestly, I think the risks and benefits of any medication on a developing fetus - including medical marijuana - need to be a decision that is made by the doctor and the pregnant woman, and not by a state or federal government.

  • Yes, I saw the aesthetically pleasing dong, but why is no one talking about the most interesting part of the article?

a frictionless yarn that evolved from military uses, most notably in socks worn by infantry soldiers who do a lot of marching.

Where do I buy these socks???

  • Huh, I wonder if there's a way to make a "light gun" style game and the phone's built-in send to TV function, and you're shooting whatever your phone camera is pointing at on the TV screen? Is it possible to have the phone display something different than what it's sending to the TV? Honestly, committing to the fact it's a camera you're aiming with could make for a fun Fatal Frame or Pokemon Snap type game...

  • How are you doing this? My DE is KDE Plasma and Koi seems to work for this based on my limited searching but I don't know how well, do you know of something better? (Also I'm using the tree background and I'm hoping to get that to switch too).
