But, but.. Botanically speaking neither strawberries nor raspberries are actual berries. Fun fact: grapes are, so that makes any regular wine a berry wine.
Musk maintains that camera-only technology is the most “human” way to approach self-driving, since people use their eyes to navigate the road.
A few years ago I was driving on the motorway, came up on a bend in the road and was greeted by a dense freak fog bank out of nowhere. I immediately let go of the accelerator to reduce speed, at the same time my dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree and a collision alert started blaring. That gave me enough time to apply the brakes and prevent a collision with the first and only traffic jam I've ever seen there.
I see no reason to not augment our own capabilities with radar and lidar, to see what we as humans can't.
I hear you, I dropped the Devil's language in highschool as soon as I was able to do so. I still get PTSD just thinking about the listening exercises on tape cassettes, where usually someone told her entire life story in about a single minute. Unbelievable how fast people can talk in French.

Lemmy is the only social media platform where I have an account. No Facebook, no Reddit, no LinkedIn, etc. From time to time I do read a post on Reddit, when it comes up in search results. When you have an obscure gaming or Linux issue, Reddit can (unfortunately) still be a treasure trove.
It really isn't to me. Even knowing the true colour I still cannot see the blue in this picture, it's perfectly white for me. Guess my brain is wired wrong. ☹️
Okay, just for shits 'n giggles we'll throw in a War 11. Just mind that it can't be fought with perfectly good legacy weapons, those will need to be replaced.
Well, I really enjoyed my two-week holiday at the start of Q2. Was nice to be at a popular location before all the big crowds come in. No complaints from my manager, only a sincere 'enjoy your time off!' So glad we don't have that toxic Anglo-Saxon work culture here.
I've also seen this uhm.. 'art' in toilet trailers in Germany two years ago, really weird.
