  • Bars/Pubs. The booze helps lubricate those social wheels. Or friends of friends being introduced to each other.

But honestly anywhere could be a place to meet someone if you're not a creep about it and don't try to force it.

  • This is the answer. Its simple but not easy. Do you think the average person knows what they're spending money on each month? And how much? One chick I knew was spending almost $500 a month dining out!! A MONTH!

It is difficult to not have any "fun" purchases tho, nearly impossible imo. But you have to have spending discipline and next to no people have that.

But let's say everyone stops spending on non essentials, taken to its conclusion that would leave only grocery stores, dr offices, mechanics, and banks left to do business lol maybe a few others.

  • This is correct. While someone's $50k of student loans could be "forgiven", it means that year they will have an additional $50k worth of "income" on their taxes and will be taxed like any regular income would.

Also! You do need to make payments, and $0 is not considered a payment. You need to set up $1/mo payments on all your outstanding loans for them to count. Not that you go 10 years making $0 only to be told nothing counted.

  • How is he "advocating" for violence? Where is his call to action?? Stop being so allergic to uncomfortable conversations. He is right. Look at all the big triumphs over tyranny that have happened throughout history, they were achieved through violence. Do you think America voted their way out of British rule? Do you think Ukraine can vote Russia out of their country?

  • Well when most employers can fire you at any time for almost any reason (at-will employment) and your healthcare is tied to your job then.... yeah, employers can treat their employees pretty poorly and get away with it, especially if you work in something like fast food or big box retail where plenty of young, unskilled workers are entering the workforce every year that they can replace you with.

  • I want a pokemon RPG game. Give me a type- specific skill tree that I as a trainer can earn xp and level up. Fire moves deal +10% dmg, burn chance up +5%, water moves deal -10% dmg, etc. Maybe some general ones too like catch chance +5%, wild pokemon encounters -10% (or +10%), money earned +10%, etc.

So many trainers seem to be focused on one or two specific types, why not encourage the player to do the same? Allow players to re-spec with the professor if they want to change things up.

So tired of the same gameplay just being given a new coat of paint.

  • YouTube used to be good for music until they put 2 ads before AND after EVERY VIDEO!

I know this comes off as "old man yelling at clouds" but there used to be a time when there were NO ads on YouTube. You could make an entire playlist of songs without having to hear a single ad.
