  • Take out all the people and creatures trying to kill you along the way and I feel like a walk down the intended route from Goodsprings to New Vegas would be fun enough and fairly pleasant. Otherwise, it's a survival game nightmare I wouldn't win, no matter how you slice it.

And if you'd consider Yooka-Laylee open world, the full first book you enter would be fun to stroll all over in for a short while. Especially since the majority of the enemies look like little pushovers.

  • I'm all for taking those people and shoving their boxes over their heads.

  • The X and Y games set in the Kalos ( France ) region. Also the same generation they released Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire ( remakes of Ruby and Sapphire ( based on some part of Japan ) ).

  • I don't think I have any of the optional software installed, I'm pretty sure, but all the keys naturally light up. I don't remember what brand or what exact model I have, but I have the lights on the lowest setting possible so they don't distract me.

  • I don't trust those at all because I look at games like Balatro and it'll probably sneak in a suggestion like Sonic Frontiers. I swear it's because I just happen to have 3 Sonic titles and the April Fools visual novel in my library rather than Balatro players heading over to play Elden Ring. Especially sinceI hardly ever play games even remotely like Elden Ring on Steam, the new Ratchet and Clank not included.

  • Wouldn't matter for people who still don't really have access, but I'm taking a page out of supervirus Daemon's book and telling everyone the web has been 100% infected and that they only have a short amount of time before it deletes itself permanently.

  • That's pretty much the only thing I hate about my desktop keyboard. Absolutely not a fan of RGB lighting because it's just wasteful and probably drains more resources than it's worth.

I need all the resources in the world so if I ever end up with a better desktop I can run such obviously resource intensive games such as Dungeon Clawler at maximum efficiency.

  • Way too much Dungeon Clawler on my Steam Deck. I think that and a little bit of Baba Is You are mostly the only non-mobile games I've really been playing over the past week.

  • I thought the name of the game sounded familiar, so I ended up looking at the Steam page and I was right when Stumpt did a video on it, pretty sure. Definitely gonna have to at least check out the demo because it looks interesting enough.

Looked it up and they definitely did a video on it. Sk definitely gonna at least check out the demo. Hope sales pick up.

  • For some plans I have, a WIP supervillain I'm working on would be amazing. The main hero and his rival villain basically are normal people who have another person from another dimension fused in their bodies that allow them to transform into their superhero/villain forms. The best part about it is how when the transformation occurs, it's basically instant and so long as nobody sees it in person, nobody can figure out you're the transformed person. I have so far planned out that people seeing the transformation through the very rare security camera footage on universe would wonder why you suddenly disappeared and in your place is the transformed, so no need to hide from security cameras (even though you probably should just in case).

Would absolutely love to become the villain because he becomes an anthro goat with very long horns that can bend and move them (limited by horn length) to his will, that are pretty sharp. Only downside is how his horns can get caught in walls and other surfaces.

Would be able to do things I could never imagine without ever having to worry about people recognizing me.

  • Yeah, definitely gonna stop those pirates who soft/hardmod their systems and never connect to the Internet/run updates in order to dump their games or play pirated copies or whatever they wanna do! That'll stop them!

    Edit:

This seems to be more about their online account services and their updated privacy policy than anything else, but I still think my point stands, just not for this article.

  • As I told my mother and father yesterday, I firmly believe that under the Trump regime that if for any reason this new Pope comes to America that he'll either be captured and tortured before being killed or just straight up killed for being a traitor.

  • Anyone?

  • How did y'all get a picture of my hand after a couple weeks of biting my fingernails?

  • An EA published game series for the first 2 entries, but Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 1 and 2. Still on entry 1, so I'd like to avoid spoilers, but they definitely feel indie compared to every single triple AAA game that's come out in the past well over a decade due to the passion you can tell had to be out in for the game to have sold well.

Also learned the 4th game wasn't even available on PS2 because of its' 2015 launch, so if I ever get around to finishing the first 3, I gotta get it on PC because there ain't no way I'm buying a copy for switch.

    Edit:

Saw a trailer for the 4th game on Krome Studio's website and I'm probably gonna skip it because it looked too much like a mobile game for my tastes.

  • First of all, if it's my number sending messages back in time to myself, I could easily convince myself it's me by sending a list of my passwords back in time.

Second, tell myself that I'm screwed no matter what because there's no way I could defeat a professional assassin (assuming it's professional), especially one from the future, and to probably just hang myself or some other form of suicide in order to mock the assassin by not letting them get the kill.

  • Depends on the game. I'm still a very long ways away from completing it, so please no spoilers, but Sonic Frontiers? They added enough to the open world that it's fun to run around and do side stuff in. Pokemon Violet? The charm wore out quick enough, making the region feel way too empty compared to most other gens, so no. No clue on the DLC, but I imagine they're similarly as empty and devoid of NPCs as well. Games like VoxeLibre on Luanti? Wouldn't want it any other way!

  • Well, all fully blind people lose their ability to effectively communicate, at the very least. At least until some form of sound based "sign" language is developed.

  • Ever since the switch to 3D, I knew they would never look back. Biggest reason why fan games are so valuable to me. The only thing I like about the upper half gens (not including 5) are the pokemon (case by case and not including regionals) and the terastal mechanic, in terms of the games and their mechanics. Gens 6-9 I really don't have almost any care for any of the important characters outside of the designs for characters/character art for characters like Geeta, Diantha, Brasius, Kiawe, and Rika. Those are pretty much the only characters who's names I could even remember.

That's mostly due to, in my opinion, when I think they started absolutely dumbing and watering down the story and characters so they could start focusing on nostalgia baiting people to keep them coming back while also completely dumbing down exploration as well. I think two of the only characters from gens 6-9 I really care about were Lysander and Kiawe because I thought Lysander's genocide plot was interesting enough and Kiawe only because of the episodes of the anime I saw (which is kinda cheating since the anime is where they put every ounce of character into 99.99% of all important NPCs).

Pretty sure a large amount of fans would absolutely love returning to an older form, at least aesthetically, myself included, but good luck convincing Sintendo of anything without getting their corporate legal open secret stasi (lawyers) getting involved.

  • If we're talking windows LTSC, there's no way you'd get my dad to buy into it. It'd probably be easier for both of us, but what happens after LTSC ends? It's just delaying the inevitable, unless he gets a new laptop running 11, which I doubt he'll do for as long as he can use his current laptop.

  • Just got a legit copy of Dungeon Clawler and installed it on my deck and it's definitely harder than the old version on my laptop. Also, I save scummed the heck out of Dokopon Kingdom on Dolphin over the weekend, until the point the CPU turned evil and finally caught up to me and caused my first death.

I have also been enjoying Sonic Lost Worlds on 3DS (first playthrough), while also having tried a couple levels on PC and I don't know whether it's my PC or what, but it's pretty much the only game I could recommend the console version over the PC version despite absolutely HATING the special stages because of how trash the motion controls and movements are in my opinion.
