I agree to a certain point. I'm not going to stop using Reddit totally, but I've got to admit that I've used it less and less after I started using Lemmy.. I rarley go on reddit.

The point is to maybe get more traffic for us. But I do agree with you, traffic is traffic.

They haven't blanked the "fuck Spez" stuff så maybe they will not blank it out?

It's not really the selling point for me either, It was a bonus because I got YouTube Music in the mix. Free ads was a bonus at that point.

You make it sound normal, which it is not. There is one thing shouting in a game that they will kill you in the game. It's something totally different when they are sending death threats.

Pretty sure it has to do with the content not being updated on that instance then. It should be deleted but I can imagine it taking time for instances to instances.

I'm pretty sure non-bias news is very hard to accomplish, I would suggest Reuters and other news aggregated news site for this.

I think it would be quite boring if not opinions where able to be a thing in the media. I get where you are coming from but if people have the understanding that you have to keep in mind of the bias of the person writing the article then it shouldn't be hard to get a sense of what to trust.

There was also a site that was posted in another thread that has a very interesting concept where you can split news from left to right. I don't remember the name of it right now but there is always alternatives.

Really sad what happened in that country. They where on the path of democracy but ended up with an autocratic once more.

Are we even talking about the same company? The company that refused to give in to FBI's demand for them to unlock a terrorists phone?

I don't personally use apple products other than my iPad... But calling Apple a company that doesn't focus on privacy is just pure ignorance. They've been one of the biggest companies that has worked FOR privacy. They are not even close to what Google is doing with their software..

Now there are software and hardware that has the capacity to unlock iPhones, but to my knowledge Apple are not the company that let's easy on the users privacy..

As was written in the OP comments apple have already fixed the issues that Louis Rossmann points to here. This video is over 2 years old dude.
