Looking on from the outside, every piece of news sounds like "the avalanche has gathered more debris and more speed and causes even more devastation". It's horrible. Never in my lifetime have I watched the implosion of a democracy in real time. Looking at Germany in the 1930s must have felt similar.

Same reason Trump isn't in prison - because he's in power. I don't like it either.

And every time, he will say "esprit de corps spirit".

In my book it took almost a decade. It's like you could watch it running towards the precipice in slo-mo, and all warnings were countered with "libs triggered, lol". Not to speak of all the groundwork laid by most previous admins, esp. Reagan's.

Alternatively nothing or everything that the Trump administration does surprises me. I'm sure there are more holes in this "plan", esp. for Europe. But apparently once again our dear leaders cling to the old paradigm of "the USA, our trusty big brother".

That's so diametrically opposed to the truth, it's cynical. I hope Google gets what it deserves for allowing that. Not to speak of Israel.

And this is so vastly exaggerated, it's fearmongering. It's "Iraq has weapons of mass destruction" all over again. And even if, why would they want to attack Europe? It makes no sense. We're not the enemy.

I'm more infuriated by the "abnormal activity from your IP". It seems pretty much everything is abnormal to these CDNs, including using Firefox on Linux. On the stack/exchange/ask networks I get that shit every fucking time. And no, I'm not using a VPN/Tor.

I think this is a chance at getting peace or it's just going to be the same thing. And I have to tell you, Europe has a lot of spirit for this war. A lot of people, you know, when I first got involved, I really didn't think they did, but they do. And I saw that a month ago when you were there, most of you many of you were there.
