  • The guy tried (and almost managed) to kill an ex-president and candidate for a second term. Of course the media is going to cover all the shit they can. It gives them clicks and that's all that matter.

On the other handl, apparently, the guy had some mental health issues was bullied and honestly, what other outcome can you expect if not a very fast death when you try to do what he did in the way he did it?

Either he was out of his mind and was completely delusional, or was trying to leave the world with a huge kill in his name to be remembered.

    Edit: typo

  • If that were the case, "Alex" would understand what's happening, instead of making it a national case.

If my country, with a democratically elected leader decides to go do an ethnic cleanse to illegally occupy the land of a fellow country while not giving a single fuck about human rights and international laws, I'd understand if someone wouldn't want me in their business.

  • Oh look! You found one instance I'm which people were protesting and using the flag against police brutality. Have you ever been in Spain? If you find someone wearing a flag outside an event (ok, not only sports but sometimes also demonstrations) it's a fascist. In America, people wear them every day, have them in their house, even in their car. They worship the flag. People in Spain don't. Unless they are fascists.

I'm not going to comment about the second pic because there's not even a single Spain flag there.

  • In Spain, unless it's for a sports event involving a national team, nobody except fascists show the kind of devotion the Americans show for the flag. Most of the time, people don't go wearing a flag or carrying one everywhere. Unless they are fascists.

  • You don't get it. The problem is that the consent is not free. I can't give my consent to be tracked if the alternative is to pay a fee. It's as simple as that. The consent must be given without flaws, I can't be forced to accept the tracking, because then it's not a consent. You should stop shilling for corpos.

  • It's not about having free services but flawed consent. I can't give you my consent if it's either pay or accept tracking tracking. That's not a free consent, and that's what's being ruled here. Give me a paywall, I'm fine with it. But don't you go saying you're giving me a free choice when it's either pay or screw your privacy. That's not consent, that's extortion.

  • The problem with the left everywhere is they don't have the balls to actually take action. They all talk about tolerance and how dialogue should make people change and be the politicians language. No. Certain things shouldn't be tolerated. Fascism and nazism are two of those. Democracy is above anything else. If a subject is trying to undermine democracy or the institutions protecting it, they should be considered a national threat and dealt with accordingly. The problem is that the left is afraid of being seen as "authoritarian" so when a fascist comes and openly says they want to fuck democracy until it becomes a dictatorship, leftists just say "hey now, let's sit down and talk". No, my dude, we don't "sit down and talk" with a fascist. We punch them in the face and tell them "fuck you, if you want to be a dictator, you're a threat for our country and will be dealt with as a terrorist". 80 years ago, we argued with Nazis by shooting them. We forgot and now we're having them in our governments again.

  • Not everything has to turn a profit directly. Some stuff, like public transport services will most probably work at a loss, bit will generate profit indirectly. e.g making people take the car less frequently, generating less traffic accidents which at the same time, reduce the load of the healthcare system... Oh right, I forgot we're talking about the US, where healthcare also needs to turn a profit...
