Prisons have running water, hospitals, food, and the people in them are mostly criminals, with a few guards and staff. Prisoners still have human rights. None of that is true for Gaza.
The people living in Gaza are children, with a few terrorists, and foreign aid workers.
Concentration camps need not be work camps. They are defined by what motivated their creation (segregating a specific group of a population).
I just hope they still show up for all the down ticket races. So much more is elected than President and the way Republicans captured our government was by acting at the school board and town level as well as securing legislatures and governorships so they could pack the courts.

I got (attempted) robbed at gunpoint in my home one time. The only real warning we had was the dogs barking considering they never barked ever.

I totally agree that these statues should be kept intact but not maintained in a memorial garden where the whole treason can be enshrined and never forgotten.
I'm reminded of the giant lynching mural at Indiana University and how some sensitive white kids were offended by it and wanted it removed. The black student union had to remind them, "this is your history, this is where you come from. If you erase it, you risk forgetting it".
The most painful history is the stuff we need to preserve. Humans suffered, fought, and died so that we could live a better life. I don't want to forget that.
Is this different than how Israel sees all Palestinians as Hamas? ... Because Israel has made it clear that it won't stop bombing Gaza until all of Hamas is dead and it looks like they won't believe they've done that until there's no beating hearts left on that side of the prison walls.

I enjoyed high school. I did well in high school. My father was never around And my mother lived 900 miles away but I still had everything I needed so I had immense freedom compared to that of my peers.
I still have lots of friends from high school over 20 years later, And because of moving around the country a lot before high school I had to make most of those friends in high school. I would never go back to the way things were. I don't mind having a job if it means I get to choose what's in the fridge, what I get to build and where I get to build it.
Also what high school did you go to that it was 9:00 to 3:00? I went to 16 different schools in five states and I've never seen a school day that short. High school for me started at 7:00 which meant I had to get up at 6:00 and it didn't get out until almost 4:00 And if you had any extracurricular activities you probably didn't see sunlight a good portion of the year.
Israel has made it clear that it will not accept peace. Israel at no point in time was ever willing to accept a two-state solution. Israel and Hamas are terrorist organizations.
The difference between Israel and Hamas is that Israel is extremely well-funded and serves with consent of the governed whereas Hamas is extremely poorly funded and less than half of the population was born when they were "elected" and even fewer of them participated in that election.
That seems like a really bad idea considering that the intransigence in the house was doing a pretty good job of blocking aid to Ukraine as is. Doing anything to fuck with Israel seems like It would be obviously encouraging the parties to come to some kind of consensus so they can pass an aid bill to Israel.
If this is a sneaky Russian plot, then they're even worse at any of this warfare stuff than everyone already suspected.
Genocide. Anticipate genocide as Israel uses this opportunity to justify eradicating the Palestinians. Never mind that everyone was warned that this would happen if they continued to bulldoze houses during Ramadan.
Gaza doesn't have anything else. It is not a country, it is a concentration camp and it in general is not permitted to have anything resembling an organized self defense.
It makes it easier to bulldoze over their towns on Ramadan and then act shocked when some of them retaliate during your high holiday.
Israel could simply stop settling the land that doesn't belong to them and exterminating Palestinians, and Hamas could stop lashing out and killing Israelis but the only way that happens is if the political leadership of those two selfishly monstrous regimes were to simply all die.
There can be no peace as long as one country is allowed to make another into an apartheid state while they ethnically cleanse the population from land they feel entitled to control.
