  • You shouldn’t have to wear safety rated glasses to protest, but I wouldn’t go to one without them at this point. If you normally wear glasses and they’re not rated an impact can shatter them and cause even more damage than not wearing them at all would have.

  • Plenty of people will be protesting in Seattle, represent your own city. It may not get as much media coverage, but it can motivate people in your local community and that’s the kind of movement we really need across the country.

  • You don’t even have to be that smart to be the US President, that’s what your advisors are supposed to be for. That was evident in Trump’s first term when he surrounded himself with at least semi competent people. When you surround yourself with a bunch of sycophantic morons, this is the type of shit you get. Not to mention the whole revenge tour thing.

  • Shell and Nestle have committed numerous atrocities against mankind. When your platform suddenly becomes untenable for them to run ads on, the problem is definitely your platform.

  • Likely 25% of the country is brainwashed and doesn’t give a shit, to an absolute fault. The rest either did the right thing or totally feel like morons at this point. To the latter people, I am willing to forgive if you take to the streets, stand up for what’s right, and do whatever you can to help us get the train back on the tracks.

Schadenfreude is also robbed of its joy when you’re suffering alongside the folks that fucked up.

  • Once again, Gen X left out of the conversation when they still make up a large percentage of the workforce lol.

Being a millennial in the workplace right now is giving me whiplash. Boomers are essentially the old guard and their ways of running business are going the way of the dodo, though I was brought up in that climate and sort of got used to it. While work environments had a tendency to be toxic, I did find some merits in their approach.

Gen Z is almost like the polar opposite reaction to boomer workplace culture. While I think going away from that is a good thing, I also think there have been overcorrections. The culture clash is noticeable and the fact that the old guard seems to be ignoring it only adds to the challenge.

  • What “illegal immigrants” in their right mind would be out partying at an after hours night club with everything going on? I wouldn’t be surprised if there were a few, but 100? This reeks of steamed hams. 100 migrants localized entirely in this illegal nightclub, in this political climate? I would like to see the evidence

  • Just like Gen Z fucked up by being in elementary school or even diapers instead of buying property in 2008. You’ve goofed by not building factories instead of eating, where’s your grind mentality?

I could hear a handful of podcasts out there saying this unironically. Society is cooked
