  • I'm not really enjoying the communities that use bots to create posts, considering I have to follow multiple variations of the community subject matter just in case. The engagement is definitely more important to me and what I'm missing most from reddit. It's building up though.

The only place where I wish there was a repost bot is the BestofUpdates community (can't remember the name). I crave those stories and don't care if it isn't a human porting them over to Lemmy

  • My previous comment of praise got eaten by Lemmy. (draft saved, submitting comment, error) is that a sync bug or on the Lemmy side? I was excited that it at least saved a draft of the comment but it doesn't seem to be an option. Feature request?

The gist of my lost comment was that this app is great and I probably never would have found Boost had I come across this first. It's going to be a hard choice when boost finally comes out. Congratulations on a successful launch! I will be switching between this and summit for the time being

  • As far as far as I've seen, they're on the feed but are currently showing up as black boxes. Maybe the ads aren't fully running yet?

Edit. Nevermind, I guess I randomly hit "do not consent" during setup Another edit: now they're working. Must have been from today's update

  • My partner never read the books and easily caught the massive religious manipulation angle through the film. The even more massive scale of it all was obviously not revealed because of when it takes place, but it's still present

  • It took me a while to stumble across Summit. I'm really enjoying it! I've tried everything so far and, while each has something going for it, Summit has the most of what I think I want so far. Tbh it just reminds me of Boost, which I'm really looking forward to. But yeah, Summit is my current favorite.

I never once tried Sync before but now that it's here I'll give it a go
