I burned the banana stand down for the insurance money.

I went into my pair of bone conducting headphones (I have Shokz) understanding their purpose, namely that they are not for an audiophile level sound experience; they are for being able to be active and hear music or audiobooks while maintaining situational awareness.

Once I discovered I could use mine in the shower, I was hooked.

Can’t do that with my Bose.

This worked for me before but I had to update my user-agent string in wget.

It’s a practical, demonstrative example of scarcity. It causes people to act internally rational, even though there are far more efficient methods.

Shokz makes some good ones which I use and have been happy with.

It will be licensed to manufacturers with advertising incentives and packaged into consumer electronics.

Savvy electronics users will supply their own HDMI cables; this product will be for people who only understand enough to plug the ends between their box and the entertainment system.

Hell, you might even see these cables being handed out for “free”, akin to the AOL disc days.

It seems they would like the flexibility to administrate the server any way which suits them. Using someone else’s server would complicate that, and expose their discussions to unknown administrators.

Those are just the things I can think of right off the bat.

I use it in my everyday life to answer specific questions I would have ordinarily used google to find the answers, and all without having to wade through 10 sponsored ads and 50 unrelated Etsy links.

Paywalled.

I imagine the crack they make is probably “a real man does the lawn,” and my response to those sorts of cracks is always “a real man doesn’t care what you think.”

So, basically every AT&T customer.

j/k, the completely disintegrating part is true, the last part is that there won’t be any SSN benefits by the time Gen Y and later gets around to retiring.
