  • it's definitively fast on my installation. Might I suggest looking at the log level and making sure it's not set to INFO or DEBUG? That's what was holding my instance back.

  • You can activate episodic content as you like and jump around between seasons. It's tied to the expansion so you buy it = you get the content. This is mostly story but some features / horizontal progression is locked until you complete it. I prefer that over the "you needed to be there when it was free now you have to pay" approach.
