Its becoming a trend where game companies are now making single player games require a internet connection just to play. I saw some games on Steam where single player games come with anti-cheat, like wtf.

I agree, but these researchers/scientists should be more mindful about the resources they use up in order to generate the computational power necessary to carry out their experiments. AI is good when it gets utilized to achieve a specific task, but funneling a lot of money and research towards general purpose AI just seems wasteful.

I find it insane when "tech bros" and AI researchers at major tech companies try to justify the wasting of resources (like water and electricity) in order to achieve "AGI" or whatever the fuck that means in their wildest fantasies.

These companies have no accountability for the shit that they do and consistently ignore all the consequences their actions will cause for years down the road.

I wish fairphone could be compatible with GrapheneOS or CalyxOS. So that way I wouldn't need an unrepairable phone.

Twitter should just merge with Truth Social at this point. So that way people will know what kind of platform they are engaging with.

I helped my parents migrate to linux mint and they are very happy with the transition. No more ads, dumb bing search suggestions, or MS edge.

Its unbelivable that I have to use 4 addons just to experience YouTube properly, now because of this shit feature we'll probaly be getting another one. I try using YouTube alternatives like invidio.us or piped.video but half the time the content just doesn't load and its frustrating.

To all the windows users out there, just use Okular its free and available in the Microsoft Store. its a KDE application and still better than Adobe imo.
