Did none of you read the articles. Its for now playing feature. The one that scan music in the background and display on your lockscreen. Before this, it's just the artist and track name.

Create a private space. Install sandboxed google play in there. Install banking app or any other google play dependant app in private space.

That's the most reasonable and less hassle method in my opinon. Lock it down when not in use. Cons? no push notification when locked down.

Havent try immich but i heard immich was the next best thing, be aware though, last i heard even the dev said the app was in active development so things might break.
