For me, I only got to 5 Gbps or so on my NVMe using dd and fine tuning bs=. In second place there was steam with ~3 Gbps. The same thing with my 1 Gbps USB Stick. Even though the time I saved by more speed is more than made up by the time it took me to fine tune.
I just installed LFS once, which inevitably came with compiling the kernel. Many times, over and over, every time with other configs as some packages required them. For a dual core Dell Laptop from the 2010 it was surprisingly fast, actually. Still not enjoyable or feasible for my normal systems.
Arch isn't affected afaik, as it specifically targeted Debian and RPM. Also, sshd isn't linked against liblzma (or something along those lines). And I hope that's true, because otherwise, I had a backdoor on a public system for over a month.
Well half a second delay is pretty noticeable when you ssh into a machine sitting right next to you. It should be instant. And if it isn't something's off.
As all your other measurements are based on the subjective measures of random people, I'd suggest using the amount of digits of pi a senior can remember in the time a new school shooting happens as a base, like a Bit. Then just multiply by a random amount for bigger sizes and prefix the name with random presidents names.
Then probably Pydroid 3, as it supports TK, Kivy etc. If you actually want to compile and run various languages you could use Termux, as it basically exposes the fully fledged Linux machine better known as your Android.
Also with Vencord (Which is not in the Mozilla addon store anymore unfortunately, so you'll need to use Tampermonkey or FF Nightly/Dev and compile the extension yourself). Then add an Adblock theme to hide all the premium trash you can get for free with Vencord and voilá, you have yourself a usable, still spying and not E2EE, messenger.
For me, many electron apps (especially Discord and Spotify) start to spasm out with this. As in, they open blank windows and can't be focused etc. So using spotify-player in foot and canary.discord.com in FF Nightly is the only option.
The cool kids use whatever distro they want, but know their distro to the package. Which is easiest to achieve by installing Arch, Gentoo etc. by hand.
And around 70% of titles are replaced by DeArrow for me, and of the other 30% around 80% are probably just too unknown. So in total just 6% are actually not clickbait, and those 6% are basically just dashcam channels with the numbering as title, the largest german channel about Lego-style bricks and media.ccc.de
Yup, my PCIe NVMe should be readable at 8 GB/s and writeable at 7 GB/s afaik. I can't reach that speed tho, no matter which bs.
