2016 Hyundai Accent. It was cheap and what I could afford. I will run it into the ground before I get another one. She works and she's tough. She got me across country with a full trailer attached to her and is just fine. She's filthy, but she is mine. And I love her.
There's a difference between being alone versus "lonely." I know this sounds flippant, but you have to find things you like. Things you wake up and look forward to, or plan for yourself. Maybe plan something for yourself next holiday? Take yourself out to dinner, spa day if that's your bag, maybe look into a hobby you've always been interested in, go to a out-of-the way store, whatever is special to you and for you.
Glue in different colors, different hair salads, gravel and sand dishes. And a selection of straw, pencil, and pen appetizers so you have something to chew on while you pick.
I guess the idea that some people are fat for reasons outside of their control? When it comes to fat people, people don't like to hear "excuses," regardless if it's "I don't have enough time to work out" or "my body is unable to do xyz effeciently and causes weight gain." Fat is seen as a character flaw. And because for a lot of people, it is a simple "calorie in vs calorie out," the idea of it not working for someone is seen as a failure of character. So this "belief" is making it easier for... Fat people to be fat I guess.
Weird that this didn't trigger concerns of anorexics latching onto this study validating their belief that they can't eat/eat certain foods because their body absorbs more than others. But, like they say, you can never be too rich or too thin. đđž
Amazon is just speedy AliExpress. Sellers use all kinds of key words so they pop up in the search, and they'll use different words for the same drop-shipped item that a dozen other sellers have. The sizes are all different because they're from varying shops and countries, quality is always questionable, and some are just scams (shout out to that 2tb hardrive I got a few years back that was just coded to read that when plugged in). You can't trust the reviews, as they're likely bought, bots, or both.
Looking for a product is low key exhausting, especially if it's important. You have to check videos, reviews, reddit, lemmy, Twitter, so you can get a variety of responses since the first 5 are alway "wow, my life has been changed by the DooDoo dome 1500.â
For the thought, that's all. Not so much about the card itself, but someone taking time to write to you, even if it is just a holiday greeting. But I also don't get a bunch so they're easy for me to hold on to. I still have my birthday card from my 20's đ . But do it need it? No. Just makes me smile when it happens.
Anything. I haven't gotten a Christmas gift in years. My family isn't big on holidays, but I like the idea that someone was thinking of me. I think a card would be nice.
Every time I say it, someone comes back with "You mean haw-rur!?" Now I'm starting to think it's just my area. đ
