Say "I can't pay for it now" or "I don't want to pay for it yet" or something then... "I don't feel like paying for it" has a connotation of "I could pay, but I want it for free" rather than even "I don't want to pay for it" which can be taken from more viewpoints such as "it's too expensive right now to justify paying, I'll wait for it to come on sale" or "I'm not ready to pay for it until I've tried it"
I take it you follow every company's bonus and employee stock programs then, to ensure you're only pirating from companies which only pay a basic wage and standard bonus?
My negative reaction to the post is due to "I don't feel like paying for it"
"I can't afford it", "I want to see if I can run it", "I don't support the restrictive drm" are all valid reasons to pirate in my opinion, but none of them appear to apply here and "I don't feel like paying" absolutely isn't, especially if they would buy it if they couldn't pirate it (which is the impression I get from the post).
In most cases calling piracy stealing/theft is stupid, but in these cases it actually is akin to shoplifting from a chain store
For 3, I thought weed just didn't affect me too strongly as I am well aware of drugs affecting different people in different ways (if I have a coffee I can't sleep until around 14 hours after), but if not everyone has the right enzyme? Is there a way to induce it or something as I don't fancy putting shit that doesn't belong into my lungs but also see the relaxing properties of weed could be nice
Some things "just work" on linux where they don't on windows. Fewer things "just work" on windows where they don't on linux. The stuff that doesn't "just work" on windows can probably be made to work with 1-2 hours of fiddling at most. The stuff that doesn't "just work" on Linux will more than likely take most of your day to get working if you can get it working at all.
Kagi is akin to using Google in incognito mode though... They use Google's index for the most part and that's why you get the exact same results.
If you want to not use Google, your choices are effectively Bing (and others which use its indices such as DuckDuckGo, Ecosia etc.), Baidu, Yahoo, Yandex or Qwant.
If I were to say "at 3am, almost all grocery stores are empty, yet almost all houses are occupied, so look how much land is being wasted by grocery stores" would that be fair and representative, or picking and choosing a time to suit what I'm trying to say?
Even if we do pick and choose in favour of cars, the train is still probably more space efficient even with only around 30-50 people on board so why put yourself in a position where you can be rightfully called out as misrepresentating the data?
For the last part, have you been to London? Outside of 7:30-9:30 and 16:30-20:00 you're pretty much guaranteed a seat anywhere on the network - when you consider that 27% of the capacity of a piccadilly line train is seating, I would call a train that's 10-25% full near empty in the same way that a car with 1 person in would be near empty... And if you look at the streets of London during the day, it's all taxis and vans, generally the taxis are a mix of families and people alone, leaning towards families as it makes more sense financially to get one the more of you there are, and the vans generally have groups of people who are using them for work
The dirty/worn out trains are old, but also ate getting replaced... The circle, district and metropolitan lines have fairly nice trains and the trains on the victoria and jubilee are just fine... The bakerloo having 50 year old worn out trains is a problem well over 13 years old, and the fact that their replacements were organised under tory leadership is directly at odds with what you're saying but I take it you'll give all the credit to the Labour PM when the new trains do arrive?
I'm not in favour of the tories or austerity any more than the next guy, but misrepresentation like this is just gonna make it worse as nobody takes note when they do anything actually good, so they go elsewhere to win votes
Trains are generally at their fullest when cars are at their emptiest, during commuter hours. Tube trains are near empty (maybe 10-15% of capacity) for most of the day and night, whereas those who do drive at those times are likely groups of workmen or otherwise groups of people going to the same place
Same in my office in the UK, I got asked if I was not taking enough breaks or doing work outside of work hours as I was doing more than they expected and my manager was worried about me burning out, but having a chill atmosphere and a nice place to hang out and chill in the office just means that I can be more productive and happier at work so it's a win-win... A lot of HR types don't realise that it takes a nice office in both material and culture to make people productive and just go for the former which has the lower effect of the two when used alone.
River x is the standard form (river ganges, river thames, river nile) it's only really when a river is named after an existing place that it's different (LA river, Chicago river), where the location is used as an adjective. The same applies to oceans and seas generally, where they're named relative to an existing place or concept and so the adjective comes before, rather than the name coming after.
Sure but one of the downsides of the game (and one of the upsides, in that they allow it) is that you need 10-100 mods to patch things which should be in the base game or are just weird/unexpected, and I worry the devs are expecting modders to do their work for them... With this I bet they'll be announcing that pollution is even more purple in CS2
