  • "Poll by cnn"

May as well be a poll by South Park.

I watched that thing. The only thing i managed to agree with was that men should not be able to compete as women in womens sports. It destroys the entire sport and makes it impossible for woman to compete. I laughed at South Park episodes about this but the reality is far from funny for the women competing.

The rest was just a narc talking. Blaming everyone else and thinking his own decisions are flawless. The guy is using the same rhetoric as Hitler and Americans dont seem to recognize it, probably because they dont read german history.

  • Made me smile, much needed these days... :)

  • He has nothing to gain from talking to intelligent people. They will easily show how dumb he is.

  • Most of the western world have free healthcare. But this is an America view so I understand.

A friend of mine went to hospital like 5 times to check out his belly with various advanced machines and the final bill was equivalent to like 50 dollars. The taxi rides to the hospital cost him more than that. :)

    I think its amazing.

  • Yeah I don't change my mind on this. I will take the vaccines when there are no side effects.

  • No I just had them as a kid, maybe 40 years ago :)

    Since then ive been healthy.

  • How did i become the expert on vaccines in this conversation? Im not taking them, you are. :)

  • Yes, i care about my own health more than strangers health, thats correct.

I also take a car to work despite it polluting the environment, because im not willing to suffer public transport two times per day.

  • If you are vaccinated, you are in theory protected against that decease, and it doesnt matter if others are not.

  • I was just thinking about the covid vaccines. As a kid, I was vaccinated against all kinds of stuff im sure. But I havent re-vaccinated since then.

  • I mean, the equivalent of blocking someone in real life is just not having contact with them. It happened to me a few times, but always over things like having nothing incommon. Never over these topics. I feel like the reaction online is 100 times over the top. :)

  • I know. To me it always seemed like the wrong choice to force it on people.

  • If giving my opinion means you think Im an asshole then yes.

But in real life, people have different opinions. I dont think it makes them assholes. I like new ideas, new ways of looking at things.

  • Haha I didnt think of that, but possibly :)

No i meant more that hating those people and killing them will not get rid of them. The entire end goal of capitalism is to take as much as you can. The end goal is monopoly. At least in unrestricted capitalism like the US.

You need legal changes to handle that, not going after the people who became billionaries. More of them are growing right now in that system.

  • Yes it does affect others. Let me ask you a question. Do you live your life so it doesnt affect others? We have plenty of people drinking alcohol, causing massive costs to society, and sometimes deadly accidents with innocent people dying. We have people driving cars, polluting the environment so they can get to work faster and have a comfortable life.

There are many many examples of people putting their own comfort ahead of other peoples. Im sure I dont have to list a lot of them.

The point is, I put my own comfort ahead of other people when it comes to vaccines. I put myself first, because of the possible side effects.

  • You felt his reaction was appropriate but I was the one reacting strange? :)

  • What about the people with side effects from the vaccine? You act as if there is no risk, no danger at all from vaccines. Its like eating an apple. But its not.

  • Im not here to change your mind. That is the point. You decide what you want to do, and so do i. The problem starts when you want to tell me what I need to do in my life, to my body, so you can feel good.

  • Almost everyone in this thread supports vaccines because they are afraid what happens if some people dont vaccinate. If it is a choice (which it is in most countries). Then they hate these people and want them kicked out of society.

I think its crazy how people are acting over this. You could see the same pattern in nazi Germany. An entire group of people were hated and killed because the majority felt they were spreading decease. What is the difference here?

Maybe its good to have threads like this so people can think about their reactions. Is this how they want to be as people?
