What do we even need from America?

The EU should add 100% tax on American restaurants like mcdonalds and burger king, they are pretty much universal health hazards anyway.

But the EU will back down as it always does.

I hope you also can get out of the rat race when you feel you had enough. :) For me I just got sick of it at 50.

In dollars, about 500.000. So if stocks go up 1%, thats 5000 dollars.

My monthly costs are about half of that. So im thinking it should work out fine. Its a risk of course, but its not a huge risk to take. I think its going to be fine.

Like the previous poster said, there is a whole world out there where this sort of thing is very cheap.

In the west, everything is very expensive simply because people have the money to pay that much for it. We are working our entire lives with temporary relief now and then with overpriced alcohol. It sucks.

Im getting off the 9 to 5 myself this year and living on savings and stock market. Cant waste more of my life at work anymore but im 50 now and worked for 25 years. Im expected to continue working until im 70, but fuck that.

I think it also has to do with the economy, not just nazi salutes. Its a bad job market, people dont have money, so luxary cars are not going to be attractive.

Also there is hardly any reason to buy a Tesla... Volvo recharge and others are better cars, made by actual car companies with a good reputation for quality.

You are getting downvoted but i agree with you its obvious they dont really try to hurt the US.

Even the missiles they did fire, ALL of them were intercepted by US missile defence and not a single person was hurt.

Its just to show that they hit back a little symbolically.

I saw it on tv news yesterday and I was just so sad that this is what we have now as a president. Switched channels quickly, no point being depressed. But its just sad.

I think we are at the end stage of capitalism and people should live their lives, trying to get out of the matrix if they can.

Its probably more about wanting justice and being unable to get it. Living in a country where police pops a journalist and nothing really happens. Just some article that someone is "concerned".

I dont think its a complaint about the journalism per se. Just feeling frustrated that the police officer is not immediately dismissed and sent to court to stand trial for obvious intentional use of force against someone completely innocent.

But America has changed and the very president encourages violence and pure racism, so.... Yeah.

No it comes from long experience of knowing they will get away with it.

Its about having operating bases around the world, to make sure you can reach/strike/influence anywhere you need.

It will say something like:

"The twitter wars. Millions of people posted comments on social media and upvoted posts, and were shocked when it changed absolutely nothing."

You shouldnt. Post and be downvoted. As long as you are not intentionally trolling anyone, it shows strength of character to stand up for what you believe.

Its very different from work where you are not free to do what you want, because your entire paycheck is based on going along with the charade. You dont have to do that outside of work. :)

Capitalism is amazing. We can all just chill and have coffee and have amazing lives.

I guess its also our culture where sex is seen as the most important thing in life. So everyone is convinced their entire value consists of how much mating they are doing. Maybe that would be true if we were breeding animals but we are not.

I was not cool. That was a crime that was punished severely.
