  • I know this will get downvoted for not shitting on trump in some way but this sounds like hes telling walmart's corporate board members to take the revenue loss at their own expense without passing the cost increase to their customers. If Bernie said this it would get a standing ovation. Fuck everything else Trump tho.

  • I agree with all the sentiments in this thread about giving a kid their own identity and would never name my kid with my name even tho it could go to either sex depending on spelling. However the exception I would have to this sentiment is when someone names their kid after a deceased loved one. Usually would be the soon to be born kid's grandparent or great grandparents. So like if someone is best friends with their dad and their dad passes before their grandchild is born the person will name their kid after their late father. I dont think I know any specific person who did this with the first name, but I have seen it a ton with a person's middle name. I think its sweet and is a nice story to tell a child.

  • Wait is this a thing in humans over the age of 4? I've seen kids ask for the crust to be cut off but other than adults who eat the whole slice of pizza except the crust, I've never seen an adult who didn't like bread crust.

  • Rick James: See, I never just did things just to do them. Come on, what am I gonna do? Just all of a sudden jump up and grind my feet on somebody's couch like it's something to do? Come on. I got a little more sense then that.

    [pause]

Rick James: Yeah, I remember grinding my feet on Eddie's couch.

  • A good quality prepper video. Its a bad idea to put in the time, money and effort into preparing for society to collapse or at least preparing to the extremes some of these youtube videos go to. But the shit they teach you in some videos is chalk full of excellent survival tips. Most of which are more handy if youre stranded somewhere than anything else.

  • Fucked if I know the new terms but for my entire 20+ years of sexually active life, you would be classified as bi. But like I said or implied, Im old as fuck and have no clue what the currently accepted term may be. If I need to know the new sexuality/gender terms then im fucking a woman who is way too young than I should be fucking with. Thats a statement of the types of people who live in my area and not a blanket statement that no older individuals use current sexuality identities.

  • Logistic liability is determined in most purchasing agreements. Liability of the seller for international shipments usually ends at pickup. The buyer is usually liable for arranging how its picked up and how it is shipped. This is anecdotal to my experiences in the manufacturing industry but I've never seen at any company I was with a scenario where the company who picked up our scrap would have an arrangement where we (the manufacturing company) would be liable for what happens to out scrap after it was picked up.

  • Before anyone jumps on this guy's bandwagon cuz its fuck musk sentiment, look at his proposal from a net neutrality perspective. The chairman who opposed passing 2017's title II net neutrality legislation is proposing more crack downs on everyone's access to alternate ISP options.

THE FCC HAS AMD ALWAYS WILL BE IN THE POCKET OF THE MAJOR INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDERS WHOSE MAIN GOAL IS TO BOTTLENECK EVERYONE INTO ONLY HAVING ACCESS TO THE INTERNET THROUGH ONE PROVIDER FOR AN AREA SO THEY CAN IMPLEMENT POLICIES LIKE BADWIDTH THROTTLING, CENSORSHIP AND ELIMINATING PIRATING CHANNELS. The only defense we have against losing net neutrality is by lowering their customer retention rates when customers jump to other companies. Which is only effective when there aren't regulations limiting the number of competing providers.

There are plenty of reasons and justifications for saying fuck musk but this is not one that is worth the potential cost to your net neutrality.

  • Or you could just read the first paragraph of an article you are guna put the effort into expressing your opinion over. The chair of the FCC is saying if DODGE guts the FCC under the guise of reducing the operating cost to save on tax revenues then all they will be doing is reducing the country's access to affordable high speed internet. Subsequently pushing more people to use starlink.

This took more waaaay more time to write than it took to read. Maybe instead of needing information spoon fed to you, you could save others who share this platform the hassle of being your personal chatgpt by simply skimming an article you could see yourself forming enough of an opinion to comment on.🍻
