Completely agree with that.

But, add the kind of society we live in where social status is measured through money and how you look, plus the overall state of IQ in the population, which is getting lower and lower, and... well, you really can't expect much else from the general population 🤷. Sure, there are exceptions, but they're so little, they're either taken or you just don't meet any of them in real life.

You're dowing it wrong!

Because most people nowadays see everything as a transaction, including "love". You really can't expect anything else in a society that sees everything through the prism of money.

Those are nice thoughts... sadly, that needs a social and economical order change, as well as reeducation.
