  • I suppose it's the "we ised to be together, it used to be our continent, now we're separated".

  • I do agree on this, the EU doesn't just blindly fly out with a proposal, they actually do research before they plan on passing anything.

  • It wouldn't be shitty. Essentially, it will be the same battery, but the phone will just be bulkier.

  • And then their market share will even go lower. Apple has a great market share, but only in the US. Europeans mostly use Android devices. Except for the Swedish, don't know what's up with them, but they love Apple devices.

  • Do agree on this. A law about supporting, at the very least, just security updates for your product in a 7 or 8 year life span is a must IMO as well. 10 would be ideal, but even an 8 year life span is not bad.

I wonder if in future we will have the same issue with cars and other items now dependant on internal computers.

Probably, since most of them are smart now.

  • You can't actually make them as thin as they are now, regardles what OS they use under the hood, if the battery has to be removable. Yeah, you can still maintain the same specs, but at the cost of being 3, 4mm thicker 🤷.

  • Me too, I was like "huh, someone actually thanked me and wanted to have a meaninful conversation 🤨". I was baffled as well, but pleasantly surprised.

  • Maybe it's like a failsafe rule, to not put the country in danger 🤷.

  • Wow, didn't actually know this, good info 👍.

  • I don't get it.

  • Yep, my 3 year old does this... though he doesn't whine, he just skips in them.

  • They used to be together, before the asteroid hit that wiped out the dinosaurs. Then, the continents split.

  • Fair, I didn't look hard enough.

You know, going to that island could avtually be a great way to hook up. I mean, there's like hundreds of women and only a few men... and there's only so much of Jared to go around. Maybe they just cought on to this life hack earlier than the rest of us.

  • Lol, I wish it was armor class 😂. I'd fix it and sell it, then get a house with a proper AC 🤣.

  • He-Man riding a big duck in a river/lake... yeah, checks out, seems legit 👍.

  • If it's an ActivityPub feature, this is somewhat of a poor design if you ask me (or at least not being able to change this). He's right, this feature could put instance owners in legal problems, because the data in question is actually stored on their server, not the server that you posted the image on.

  • Yeah, you're right... but I think the problem is, the login info... but, than again, how could it store copies of my post, but not images.

In any case, I do agree that this is something that should be looked into and discussed in length.

  • It's the pretend part that's confusing to me. Why actually eat something shaped and tasting like what carnivores eat. Why does it have to resemble meat products? You obviously don't like hurting animals, why pretend that an animal died to serve you this meal.

A vegan earlier explained it to me that these are mostly things that vegans would eat at carnivore social events, like barbecues, in which case, yes, it does make sense.
