Seeing the official website states that the client is "barely supported," I'm wondering, is it worth using a different one?

I don’t have any issues with the Qbittorrent desktop client. I’m also running Qbittorrent Docker.
What is the benefit of running qBittorrent in Docker? Container proxy?
I’m running a media server on my MacBook. MacOS by default doesn’t support split tunnels, so I’m using qBittorrent + VPN Docker container to achieve that. That way, only qBittorrent is using the VPN file, no other service.
I can't complain, but I do have a weird issue when I close qbittorent it doesn't quite or stop... It freezes and shuts down unexpectedly :/ Very strange.
I only use it for public trackers tho, but after testing all the alternatives on Mac, qbittorrent is probably the best feature wise.
Same for me. I also have to reboot more often as the system seems to get buggy if I’ve been running it for a while.
I suggest fully uninstalling the app using tools like App Cleaner and then reinstalling it.
I second docker. I do use the docker version on my server, but I use docker on my Mac all the time. I really enjoy not having to screw around and have to go through the process of installing certain things and docker desktop on Mac just works. I pretty much use homebrew or docker.
It worked well in my experience, no problems at all. I used it for a while a couple months ago until I set the web interface back up on my server.
