US Tech Visa Applications Are Being Put Through the Wringer

There are stoll people who want to go to the US?
- US still pay better than a lot of other countries relatively speaking and despite Republicans our level of open corruption is still lower than many others at least for now.
  
  At least ours makes national news.
- Everything is relative. I live in Vietnam where tech people make a tiny fraction of what they could make in the US and quality of life would be significantly better despite the risk of dealing with ICE and other barriers.
- A majority of humans are selfish idiots. You can tell because ((gestures wildly)).

My company just helped move 2 workers to our Canada office whose visas were denied to be renewed in U.S. They had been in the U.S. for years but apparently government was like no, not anymore.

- Yeah, for some reason they're all sopping wet, and they need to get them dry as fast as possible to process them.
I kinda figured the H1B visas would be spared, since Elmo is a will known abuser of that program, along with most of silicone valley.
- spared only for ELMO, its likely it doesnt extend to the other tech companies that kissed his ass.
It's probably that applications are down, so they want to take credit for it.
biotech, also heavily abuses these visas as well, given the number of listings asking for them. t
