Yeah, probably not like that. I'm pretty sure those huge bones had significant musculature attached, they weren't just sticking up like a very vulnerable wind sail. I can't imagine the biological advantage that would lead to it. This guy looks he might have been more similar to a

There is a reason most of these comparisons are will mammals. Mammals have a different structure than reptiles do. But than again, so do birds and birds are more closely related to dinosaurs than other living reptilians
