Would you consider the name Zenith (boy) - Zen for short - too out there?

It sounds like someone who is full of themselves. Like oh really, you're the zenith? You're celestially the highest? Sure, bud.

But thats just my opinion, the meaning is more than the sound to me. But it does sound cool AF. Zen as a nickname would just be cool, too.

Not even a little bit. I've seen a lot of children's names at my job. At the very least, I can pronounce Zenith, and it would fit our database's size limitations, so I think it's a better name than some of the wilder ones.

You're allowed to call your kid whatever you want. Every generation follows popular trends in baby naming and calling the thing Brian will not make it's life easier.
