Denver was easily over 11k.
- We need to have one right were trump is. He was fucking golfing. Been great to have fucking million people on the lawn of his golf course. That get that mother fucking nazi attention.

Well, I hope it made everyone feel better, but I doubt it accomplished much.
- Because as everyone knows, political change only happens spontaneously, without any organization in the lead up, and people are famously fired up by sitting around at home until we all get the magic signal to go cut politicians' heads off
  
  Snark all you want, but if protests actually changed anything we wouldn't be where we are now. If anything they just function as a placebo. Everyone goes home content that they Did Something, the powers that be chuckle to themselves, and nothing happens. You only know protest has been effective when they start to complain, like with people setting Teslas on fire.

It actually wasn't a huge crowd. Probably a few thousand, though.
- The one in NYC alone probably had close to 100,000. People were saying 5th Avenue was packed for like 20 blocks. I’m not a professional crowd size estimator or anything but there’s pictures all over social media. Here’s an overhead video: https://bsky.app/profile/luckytran.com/post/3lm3scqfwvc2s
  Edit: There were over 1200 events across every state and even some in solidarity in Europe. You know Paris wouldn’t pass up a chance to have a demonstration but there was also one in London and a few other places.

  To me, that suggests these protests are filled with anti-american types. Types that just hate America and would love to see America fail completely.
