Showerthoughts @lemmy.world ArbitraryValue @sh.itjust.works 5mo ago "Deleted by creator" sounds like the poster was destroyed by God. "Deleted" sounds so casual too, like God did it as part of some routine cleanup.
I guess, but only if you have a paradigm of a supernatural being that creates things.I come from an art background, so I see the word "creator" in the context of an artist. Gods or spirits or whatever don't factor in.
It's less biblical than "Removed from existence by the originator".This comment is licensed under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0
I clicked the link in your post because I thought you meant that that phrase was in the Creative Commons license and I was disappointed.
Are there any Creative Commons licenses out there that include clauses for Warhammer 40k? 🤔 I'd be shock if true. 😜 This comment is licensed under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0
"The originator" associates in my mind with Chaos from the Hades games more than with Abrahamic God, which is arguably cooler.
I was thinking more Warhammer 40k, but I totally get what you mean. This comment is licensed under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0
God creates dinosaurs. God destroys dinosaurs. God creates man. Man destroys god. Man creates dinosaurs. Dinosaurs eat man. Woman inherits the earth.
