New data suggests most Ontarians are against Premier Doug Ford’s call for an early election. CTV’s Colton Praill reports.

I hope this fuck gets kicked to the curb.
Pretty sure most are just against ford...who wants to throw 60billion into a tunnel...nobody but Ford. Wth...fix ACTUAL problems with that money you dipshit
- He thinks he's opaque but people can see right through his machinations and manipulation.
- I've met quite a few people who will complain about him and recognise that he's corrupt, but just not go and vote. Last time he won on a turnout of 43%.
And just like the Albertans, Ontarians are allergic to making sound voting decisions and will vote him right back in again.
- Aside from Toronto and Ottowa and Northern Ontario. At least on the last provincial election, we all voted against him without a single trace of blue on any district.
  It was quite frustrating when the two biggest population centers as well as the biggest physical area all voted against him, but we were still stuck with him.
  Especially weird that anybody would vote for a guy who completely ignored you for four years in favour of concentrating all his effort on the city you often hate the most.
I just don't understand how it's legal for him to send text messages. I'm not registered as a Conservative so how did he get my number but his competitors don't.

  It started with "this is Doug Ford" for goodness sake
- At federal election time all parties get a list of all voters, and their contact information from Elections Canada. I assume it's true in Ontario as well.
  You're seeing messages from the Conservatives because they're reasonably well organized and they're doing a decent job at fundraising.
  The other parties could do it as well, but aren't. I assume it's because they don't have a decent election committee/budget, but I have no evidence of that.
  
  I would recomment registering on Canada's National Do Not Call List. It doesn't help all the time, but in this instance of political calls it should.
  Personally I've been registered for about 20 years and rarely get any unsolicited calls now.
This guy looks exactly like Boss Nass, which is a huge insult to Boss Nass
CTV should take a look at how good Ford is polling though
- Exactly. Ontarians don't want an election, and they will punish Ford by voting him in yet again.
