“When did ‘Rage Against the Machine’ become so woke??? I used to listen to them while I pump iron. Just makes me sad how they are all woke now”
Sir, did you think they were raging against the washing machine?
I always assumed it was a printer.
Check out Richard Cheese and Lounge Against the Machine.
They are so woke without changing a single word in one of their songs. Sounds like someone finally 'woke' up.
I always thought they were shouting
WANKER
Something something something red pill
Everybody quotes the "Some of those who work forces" part, but really I think "those who died are justified" is the real hard hitter. Finding cause to declare their killings as justified is literally their MO. The racism just makes it that much worse.
My recent weird hobby is to sing songs with Goofy's voice and the only thing better than a RATM song is "Hurt" by Nine Inch Nails.
Weird we have the same weird hobby, although my excuse is singing to my 2yo and getting away with it. "I hyurt myself todayyy~".
... My daughter is gonna be weird.
I think you mean awesome friend
"it's not my song any more" - Trent Reznor
"I don't care what you think." - his fans still listening to whichever version I want to hear at the time.
Those are difficult to imagine in Goofy's voice. Could you share a recording?
