How is using magnets a ânew buttonâ?
Disabled folks who canât fasten buttons have been using magnet closures for a while. This guy adds the ability to decorate it and thatâs a new button? They had changeable button covers for fun in the â80s.
âThere wasnât some arrogant ambition around disruption [of buttons],â Ive told the outlet. âIt was a very gentle, humble exploration.â
that can't be real... oh no. wtaf!
"Get those magnets wet and boom, no more magnet." -djt
Hah, you clean your clothes. What a low socio economic peasant. I just throw them away when they get old. /s
I burn mine after use, can't risk those poors getting their hands on them.
DJT actually knows a lot about how magnets work I'd say way more than most people, a lot of people actually. They all say so.
Is that an actual quote?
Congrats on inventing a $150 button, Jony.
No AI???? And it's considered a new invention? Meh!
You can tell he wasn't that interested in writing this, but he's clearly being told he has to, and I have to admit I agree.
The guys made a top, I don't care.
Exactly. My need for a coat/jacket is already satisfied, and fashion really isn't something I care about. I also don't care about this designer.
They look like normal snap buttons. What is the magnet even for?
The big quirk of the design is the outfitâs buttons, which are basically just normal buttons except for the fact that they are magnetized so that you can swap out the separate outfit toppings at the drop of a hat.
You're allowed to add buttons? I thought modern phones only took them away.
They moved them to jackets and made them magnetic.
Fucking magnets. Saved you a click.
(Magnetic clothing buttons have already been invented. Repeatedly. You can buy 20 for six bucks on Amazon.)
Well you see, when two magnets love each other very muchâŚ

Baby clothing has had this for many years, and I believe male strippers use these to make their pants easy to remove and reassemble for repetitive stripping.
Or just dudes who are lazy but also don't wanna sleep in their pants! You don't necessarily have to be a stripper to enjoy the many benefits of magnetic pants, is all I'm saying.
