Two of Donald Trump’s key election lawyers, Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell, surrendered Wednesday on charges in the Georgia election subversion case.
This is mildly impressive. I would not have expected Trump's toadies to be booked and mugshot because, as of yet, Trump himself hasn't been handcuffed, perp-walked, or mugshot himself.
We'll see what happens tomorrow.
The sheriff has previously stated that Trump would be treated just like anyone else, and the way the toadies have so far been treated seems to back that up. Fingers crossed!
I know, and it's definitely possible they've found the one sheriff in America who just doesn't give a fuck.
I really, really hope that's the case. If there's one thing Donald Trump needs, it's to feel the clamp of handcuffs, the sting of a perp walk, and the flash bulb of a mugshot.

I am fucking thrilled that Sidney Powell in particular got snatched up. She was just so, so awful. Absolutely the signpost at the intersection of Stupid St and Evil Ave.

Just her wikipedia article will get you a general feel. She's the deep end of Q. Election lies, antivaxx but less on the "it should be my choice" side and more on the "babies of vaxxed parents are born with all-black eyes and sharp teeth/the vaccine makes you magnetic in order to power the surveillance microchip in it" side. She's at least a 4 time veteran of suing the government about the election and losing, and she eventually went so far off the rails that the Trump legal team sorta disowned her in public though she still met with him in private while he was president. She's a hateful, harmful monster who was willing to do anything to seize power. Now she's gonna go to jail, which is dope.
I don't have anywhere to start reading, but she was pretty vocally involved with the whole alternate electors and election fraud shit. She was on Fox, and other places, pretty frequently pushing it. She was probably more the face of it than Rudy was. I'm not sure how you haven't heard about her, but she wasn't hiding. It should be easy to find.
