- Co-founder of OpenAI left the company and went to a rival AI company that currently has the best model. This could signify that he thinks OpenAI is a sinking ship.
  
  Or that they have better benefits, deeper pockets, more of a challenge, will actually listen to him, etc. people change jobs all the time.
