Reminds me of exporting larger files in Windows Movie Maker back on XP.
I love it when my download estimate says 700 millennia.
I love my ">1 year remaining" on Steam downloads.
Nothing will compare to the days of limewire where you waited two days to download a file just to find out it was mislabeled
Your wifi is shitty because you are sharinf the 2.4G/5G bandwidths with everyone in your apartment, causing interference.
Use an ethernet cable
Just like the file transfer dialog box for Windows 3 to xp

If you have a desktop just buy a bigger antenna. If you have a laptop, just buy a an external WiFi card and attach a bigger antenna to it. If you only have a phone, then you're shit out of luck. (I suppose that you could find an external WiFi card with Android support, plug it into the USB-C port, and then attach a bigger antenna to it)

  Usually when someone says "apartment wifi", it's a few wireless routers spread around the complex with no access to the ethernet ports. Which is why it tends to be shitty if your unit isn't close to one. Hence why you need a bigger antenna.
Why not fix your shitty Wi-Fi? It could be channel interference or signal is too weak. Never settle with shitty Wi-Fi. I have mine set up so I can get the full download apeed of my internet and games play smoothly like I'm on ethernet.
- Or, if you can, cable. If you can't: hot spot (not mobile hot spot, but a device wired to the router, set up closer to you, providing the same connection).
