So I naturally assumed this was a teenager.
Thomas Humphrey, 47, was sentenced Tuesday after pleading guilty to second-degree murder and arson in the November death of Linda Tufts, 70, inside their Goffstown home.

I mean, there's nothing wrong with that (and in this economy, totally understandable), but geez, try not to tick all the boxes.

  He lit her on fire, and then stabbed himself.
  Plus the playstation was his birthday gift.
- He'd have to be playing it really loudly to start an argument if he wasn't living at home.

Not saying it excuses the crime but it sounds like someone with mental issues.
My guess is he'll get all the mental health treatment where he's bound /s

- Well, he stabbed his mother to death, burned her body and (seemingly) tried to commit suicide.
  I think it’s not that far fetched to assume he has mental issues.
- Makes me sorta curious just what video game he was playing. Not like it really matters, there's absolutely no excuse, but seriously where the fuck was his mind at to do such a terrible thing, to his own mother no less?

I mean, if you're gonna commit matricide, the volume of your video game is probably about as reasonable as you're capable of being.

The prosecutor said the two had recently argued about how loud he was playing video games on the PlayStation she had just given him for his birthday, WMUR-TV reported.
Oh, fucking hell… she'd just gifted it to him and then this happens. Lesson learned: never buy gifts for your kids.
