1 HP
I remember reading somewhere that a single horse can actually output 12-14 horsepower. And an average human's maximum output can be over 1 horsepower.
It's a stupid unit because it averages long-term output including resting periods, and was inveted for steam engine marketing. At least it reflects the quantity it measures, reducing confusion some people have with kW and kWh.
Imagine Marlboro man doing this... Then riding into the sunset just before he feels the need for a cigarette 🚬 and then boom! Horse parts everywhere mixed with guy parts. Meanwhile a car driving through the near street gets rained on with pieces of the good stuff... anus, balls, penis, and skin with bloody hair on it as well as eyeballs, fingers and other parts easily recognizable to the layman. That's why you never top off your horse!

Fun fact: 1 horse can produce up to 15 horse power.
But only for short bursts.
On the sign to her left someone should draw up a horse near the gas pump nozzle. "Helps your horse run like new"
Why is that guy wearing a business suit while hawking gasoline?

It's ok...it a "new formula".
Hmmm.
That horse is gonna kick that dude so hard he only has one hp left.
I learned a things:
Thank God it wasn't something arbitrary like pulling a 100 pounds out of a hole that was 250 feet deep.
That almost sounds the metric system /s
