Any gamers?

Any gamers here? I play a lot of Destiny 2, and I've been meaning to give Deep Rock Galactic a go!

Just finished doing nearly everything in TotK, have been playing FF16 lately and am halfway through the NG+ on hard mode.
Going on holiday for a month but when I get back I'll finish that, then finish the game I'm making, and then get balls deep into Baldurs Gate 3 with a friend.
Deep rock is a lot of fun, even with randoms online. Although I haven't played it for quite awhile. Been playing a lot of D4 lately, but kind of just waiting for season 1 to start soon.
Also looking forward to Cities Skylines 2 and Starfield!
Oooh I'm looking forward to Starfield as well. I'm hoping it's a game I can get lost in. Also second d Deep Rock, it's an enjoyable time with friends for sure.
You bet! I'm actually trying to make a game (PC base builder called Adaptory). I've been playing a lot of Timberborn and Diablo 2 recently.
Far more than I should - pc and xbox. Been gaming for over 20 years and gone through nearly all of it - Pokémon on Gameboy to Assassin's Creed Odyssey. Not a huge fan of MMORPG but currently working my way through war thunder with my oldest kid
Hell yea. Gaming is love, gaming is life.
What did you think of AC Odyssey? Heaps of people rip on it but I bloody loved it. The combat was great.
I mostly play xbox these days. Spending a lot of time playing Doom 1 and 2. Nothing matches Doom for speed.
I have a decent ps1 and ps2 collection. Retro gaming became popular in the last couple of years and mostly priced me out of the hobby.
Emulators work brilliantly for ps1 and 2. You can even enhance the graphics. I'm playing Burnout 3 and it looks amazing
Yep. I play on PC, PS5 and Switch. Mostly into A/RPGs, RTSes, and retro games/platformers. Currently playing:
I had to get out of Age of Empires 2 HD. I got it on gamepass when it came out this time round and all the nostalgia of young 12 year old me came back which was great! What was less great is I totally forgot how much of a time limbo you go into playing that game, especially since you can sometimes spend 3 hours on a campaign level and not only lose, but realise by the end of that time that you actually lost a long time ago and were simply prolonging your loss. That game really decimates your time.
I still need to finish God of War. I'm a couple hours into it.
I was pretty hardcore mad into Diablo 3. I played both Diablo 4 open betas and yea it was cool, but I knew that Blizzard were just gonna squeeze every goddamn dollar out of it and that's why I didn't buy it, and I'm glad I didn't to be honest!
I bought D4 reluctantly and it's OK, I guess, but I'm kinda bored of it already. The art is spectacular but the gameplay is kinda dull.
Yep! Mostly play simulation / base builder type games these days. Currently playing Tropico 6.
What platform are you on? My last sim/construction type game was Roller Coaster Tycoon about 20 years ago! I don't know what those games are like these days.
Destiny was high up on a list here of 'games you wouldn't recommend' haha
I'm currently replaying Bayonetta on hard mode, Also Burnout 3 on the ps2 emulator.. goddam it's still so good after all this time. And finally getting around to Darkwood, which is also great.
I used to play a lot of CS and FEAR and CoD, but cheaters and loot boxes gambling for kids ruined everything so now I just stick to single player games.
Burnout takedown is so good.
The soundtrack (and also Tony Hawk's) was so influencial
In the big this-gen console drought of the past few years I managed to pick up an Xbox Series X last year, probably around this time of the year. During that time I rinsed sooooo maaanny gamepass games it was incredible.
For the past month or so, like everyone else, i've been deep inside Hyrule although I must be nearing the end of my time there as i've only got about 5 more shrines to find, have lit up the entirety of the depths, almost have full zonaite battery. Only thing left to do story wise I think is to chat with Purah about going into that big ol' scary castle in the middle of the map!
Later in the year I'm gonna get back into Cyberpunk (when the new DLC hits) and continue through that. But in between I think i'm going to need a non-open world, more linear type game I can smash through. Hopefully more narrative based as open world games aren't particularly gripping in that regard.
I was also really into PSVR a few years ago (I think I have 150+ PSVR games on the PS4) so I will get a PS5 at some point and then also get the new PSVR2. I've heard the jump in clarity and smoothness is enormous so i'm pretty excited about that.
