some adult needs to make rules against this becoming a usa politics community

I feel like there's more posts complaining about politics posts than politics posts
this close 👌 to making a scoreboard of politics vs complaints about politics post and their respective countries if applicable
10 upvotes and i’ll do it
Fair. I would claim that's saying something by itself.
Just shows how strong a reaction against there is and how strongly people feel about it
Dunking on the right isn't "usa politics", it is a pastime that can be enjoyed by queer ppl and allies worldwide and is relevant in all countries :)
There is a post that now has over 700 comments that is exclusively about the US electoral system and the next election and honestly there's so many fucking tankies and stupid takes that I'm leaving this community.
Rule: You must post before you leave
never posts; never leaves
that's right! do other politics as well
(gayly)
I let myself get drawn into it sometimes, but I agree. Not against having any politics in here because that's impossible, but it's gotta be alienating to come here and see nothing but stuff about the US, and it's only going to get worse the closer we get to November
It's not just here, it's everywhere. That's why people like me are so sour about it.
What politics would you prefer, then?
Understandable. And I'm sure I'm just as guilty as anyone, but this is an important perspective. We US people tend to make everything about us.
