When you are an emulator dev and you see Nintendo lawyers knocking on the door

"Have you ever dealt with Nintendo lawyers before?"
"Well, no, I... Seal off the bridge!"
"It won't be enough."
"I want droidekas up here at once!"
"We will not survive this."
you know, they should probably just release their own ports. maybe on a susbscription service.
Monetize it and most people won't pirate their old shit. A lot of people only start pirating stuff because they want to play old games that aren't sold anymore.
Nah fuck that I'm not paying any subscriptions, I'll keep pirating thanks.
I'm pretty sure you aren't suppose to talk about your criminal activity.
It can be used in court
Once a pirate, always a pirate.
Most people start for relatively innocent reasons. It goes downhill from there.
So how does that apply to the switch emulators?
there's plenty of switch games that are now out of print and hard to find. any game that was only ever sold digitally won't be findable once they take it off the marketplace. And yes, the do take old games off their marketplace.
I like emulating my games for mod support, upscaling, and better performance. A native PC port would ideally support all of these things.
Wii want to sue
I sea what you did there. It is kind of fishy
Send the battle droids!
The negotiations were short
Port your shit to PC too.
I don't want to play ToTK in 720p at 30fps. I want to play it at glorious 4k/60 with better textures.
