- Lol yeah. Every time is get that many replies, it's usually because I said something that upset a while lot of people.
That is my initial reaction as well, but then I check them and people are just replying like normal humans.

For me that's usually after I had a few adult beverages the night before and my internal filters took a vacation. I either pissed a bunch of people off or said something funny for once.

Yes normally that only comes after a ton of people disagree with me on something and must tell me all about it.
Good post get 700 up votes and if I am lucky 2 people comment.

For me, it's more like "Did I accidentally drop a hot take and got the entire community to go against me?"

Hey, I know it’s been a while, but I just wanted to say that this meme wasn’t about attention whoring. I made this meme for showing that dopamine release you get when you get a notification from someone because you know it’s probably gonna be a pleasant conversation talking with them on Lemmy. I made this meme because everyone was talking about how nice everyone is on Lemmy at that time so I though this would show it.
