It's bullshit they can just pay to make this go away, and continue doing what they've been doing like if the lawsuit never happened. I'm disappointed every time I hear an outside of court settlement has been made
- If a fine is just a business expense, double it. Rinse and repeat.
That’s roughly two years of profits for the lifetimes of hundreds of thousands.
Oh and
Bayer said the settlement agreements “contain no admission of liability or wrongdoing.”
They should be in gaol, not settling for a pittance.

  Gaol was the accepted spelling in my country up until the late 90s.
Great start, now seize all the assets of the company execs who enabled and/or hid all this, and jail them for a long time.
- Guess the settlement didn't address that. Bayer will keep selling it as long as they can afford the lawsuits.
It’s all lies. Roundup tastes great, I’ve been drinking it for years. No problems.
Breaking news that happens in 2020....
- I was trying to find an alternative to the current but paywalled Washington Post article - apparently they've paid another settlement about the same case. I assumed it was the same event, and didn't check the date.
  
  They have lost a bunch of them. 2 billion last year and this year starts off well.

I know a JohnDeere tech with cancer. Never asked for details but I bet it's related to roundup.
