Every culture has such individuals, white people merely raised it to an art form...
Pure racism. Keep it classy, Lemmy.
Stuff like this is why I won't even tell people I use the fediverse, let alone recommend it.
- I'm a white person and I chuckled. It's just a joke that you can hide if you don't enjoy it.
  
  It's still a racist joke, and saying "you can hide it" is even worse.
- As a white person, I'm fine with jokes at my expense, so long as they are actually funny, and not delivered maliciously. This struck true, and doesn't seem to be malicious.
  I would love a world where "racist" jokes are a non-issue for everyone. Unfortunately there are enough racists who hide behind "it's just a joke". Till then, I will continue to fight for equality.
