I'm fully aware of the depths depression and other mental illnesses can take someone to. I understand hating people because your life sucks, I won't understand people that resort to demeaning those already beneath them (in a socioeconomic sense, that is.)

2. you most literally can change the rules of language on the fly. that's kinda how language works and is created.

edit: removed the last comment as the previous guy was the one going on about sex first, regardless, differing levels of hormones can often influence this, considering males can have varying levels of estrogen and vice versa for females and testosterone. other animals often portray characteristics opposite that of their sex, as well.

this is just an odd thing for you to care about. why wouldn't you instead let people live their life without your criticism when they clearly are having trouble parsing their place in life and their understanding of themselves.

if you are dumb enough to be bigoted out of 'loneliness' then I don't think I care too much. being an asshole and being sexist and transphobic are not the same.

what is proprietary about a locked bootloader? the only android fork i can recommend is GrapheneOS. you relock the bootloader on that as well.

this is the exact same argument made to keep slaves.

it's a mesh network built on wireguard. it's not just a direct connection to another PC on your network. you can select exit node devices on the fly and control acl's and access based on groups in their admin panel.

and yes, if you want a properly secured vpn setup without the necessary background knowledge, it's pretty difficult. there is no opening ports on your router, which is especially useful for people on cgnat.

the more third party apps you have, the higher your attack surface and a decrease in security. I love my mods but this isn't really a solution and should be an os feature.

yeah like other people have rec'd, I just wrote a script for installing/removing/upgrading/searching all the package managers I have. this was used as a tongue in cheek jab and has never truly been a brag.

check out cromite. it's an updated bromite fork.

this is just my opinion but if you aren't after the sandboxing benefits then don't bother with them. if you want to avoid dependency hell go with nix, if you are worried about storage space use your standard package manager, and if you want higher security without the knowledge/effort to manually do it, go with flatpak or snaps (although many flatpaks need to be further hardened via Flatseal as the dev gets to configure the sandboxing. I'm unsure how this operates under snap as I refuse to use it.)

it's because of the Titan M chip, not because of ease of bootloader unlocking. Pixel's have much higher hardware security with only iPhones and their secure enclave matching it afaik.

pixels have the highest hardware security of all Android phones, which increases privacy potential. assuming you keep the stock os and default Google settings, though, it's about the same as any other.

Google also has good support for alternative OS'/Android forks, which is likely where that claim is leading to.

I've fallen in the same hole before. tbh in my experience you don't really learn much until things start breaking.

most threat models aren't high enough to warrant worrying about it.
