  • The dumb shits who are still on there hate him but they refuse to leave. They have his balls in their hand but they won't do the one thing that will break him. And now they're going to pay him.

  • Employers don't give a shit about the real estate market. Employers would be thrilled not to have to pay for utility and other maintenance costs on their buildings, if they thought working from home was superior or even a wash. They would love to push facilities costs onto their employees.

People don't want to go to work and they work backwards to think of all sorts of reasons it's somehow a corrupt idea, rather than admit they're just being whiny about the way the world has always worked.

  • I can understand not being interested in the movie or the price point or digital "ownership", but why does it make them scammers to offer the purchase at a price that heavily amortizes down the cost per viewing?

The rental price is on par with two theater tickets and they're not playing games with pretending like the purchase price should be double because you plan to watch it at least twice.

  • Season 2 wasn't bad. Even season 1 doesn't measure up to the idea of season 1. I tried to rewatch it but couldn't get far. The dialogue is kind of cringe. I enjoyed it once, but it didn't go anywhere too interesting and in hindsight the self important dialogue isn't earned.
