i guess i ll have to dig in this further. i ll keep ur experience in mind.

i am not on my laptop right now, but i am running ubuntu on a vm: and didn't know how to run kde after installing from ubuntu software store, and apparently it require usb debugging on android, although i would prefer wireless debugging: i even struggled to install the teamviewer .deb file, but figured it out afterall and had to figure how to run teamviewer, then after launch, i had to activate remote desktop, i had to install this rdp thing, and yet couldn't reach the teamviewer server. again, all this on the VM ( Vmware on windows 7) i am used to windows gui, so i took alot of things for granted, and the smallest task requires me to look up a guide for it, but kinda worth it, since i can't install win 11 since my laptop is too old and couldnt install win 10 since it required a different partition system, and after that it didn't install, so i am familiarizing myself with linux on vm for now

i was struggling to install the thing on linux. although i am still noob on ubuntu :/

pls figure a way to monetize instances: a small fee charging api or something so admins could feel safe, or else instance owners will be piggy backed by third party app devs, and its happening.

just an assumption ( also u guys need to be open for some critique, facking hell! ) but also why his pricing is way more than he used to charge for sync for reddit ? said he would work on the app 'full time': what does that even mean ? would he quit his day job for the app ? would such an app require full time maintenance ? also pricing more than he used to do without sparing any thought for the instance admins kinda fishy: i know that lemmy code is beyond his reach but placing ads on feed is like taking instance owners for fools and shidding on them, at least while pricing leave some room for people so they can donate to instances until something serious is done about it..and please grow some brain cells before responding to this:and no, devs dont need to sync up app release.

also those parents could be close relatives, so they could fuck up their offspring genome by transferring recessive genes to them from both sides, and thus a recessive phenotype to be expressed, which most of the time is a disability. shouldnt expect much from such parents
