Their blue cheese is terrible, but some of their dressing varieties are quite good IMO. I consider their Lite Caesar and "Simply" Greek some of the best off the shelf brands. Come to think of it, I don't know of any blue cheese that isn't from the refrigerated section that is worth eating.
I can't say I necessarily agree on this one as I really enjoy my nicer headphones, but $300 is probably the price where you hit some serious diminishing returns. It could also be argued that many (most?) of the more expensive headphones have no business being priced like they are.
That's actually very much my kind of font, thanks a lot. At first glace I still prefer my current font (Liberation Mono), but I'll give it a test run and see how it feels after a couple of weeks. You can never tell right away if a font is a keeper.
I don't love it, but I also went in hoping for a possible new monospaced font to try out. It's nice to have options and maybe give Suse a slightly more distinct look I suppose.
I've been playing them since the first game and I don't think I've truly loved any of them since 4. So even though I've bought them all thus far, it is pretty easy to skip one of I don't like where they go. No games series can last forever.
I had the same experience with bitcoin. I had friends excitedly talking about it when it was around $1-$2 a coin and I dismissed it as a neat idea that would never fly. When BTC "crashed" at $10, I felt vindicated. Now I feel completely foolish :)
I had a similar school project around the same era. My wealthy grandfather suggested I invest in Phillip Morris. You should have seen the look on my teachers face when I bought the fake stock!. I actually ended up getting extremely into it and sold all of those "evil" fake stocks for an early tech company. I was quite certain it would do well, and I was right and I ended up winning the project by a wide margin. I tried to get my parent to let me use most of my savings account to buy real stock but they dismissed the idea because I was just a kid. It would have paid for my college education entirely if they had let me (they certainly didn't help).
To be fair, Sennheiser's consumer line have always been pretty mediocre. Their pro audio line have always been solid and what their good rep is based on.
I just got one of these last week for $150 new. The panel won't be winning any awards for visual quality, nor will the speakers be lauded by audiophiles, but it perfectly serviceable and affordable.
