  • I'm just waiting sometimes searching for an in depth guide, or an easy to use tool, to upscale my sg-1 dvd's directly from original non compressed quality, to a more palatable resolution before they are compressed and converted to mkv. Tools being FOSS is a soft requirement, it kind of has to run on Linux, or I need to find an older dual core Intel Mac in storage or run windows in a vm.

I don't have any computers with a DVD drive any more, but I'm not opposed to buying one

  • Maybe depriving your self of sex is entirely your decision, and not someone else's. It sounds so gross to hear people wanting to control the sex life of other people, because I am unable to by any stretch of the imagination interpret someone being offended by other people not wanting to have sex with you in any other way.

I can only imagine, that a woman in the US, that are not allowed to end an unwanted pregnancy, and live under a government that actively floats that they would like to end contraceptives. So what happens is if you stick your penis (stop seething when you read this) inside of her, all her rights her mother had before in the same situation goes out the window.

Just a reminder, your unalienable rights do not include forcing someone to have Sex with you

  • The only thing I can take a way from your comment is you are calling women who take control of their own bodies and are public about it are losers.

Your second paragraph might be partially correct, but still you are calling women who want to publicly fight to keep their human rights losers...

You are calling people who try to keep their rights losers.

Anything I can extrapolate outside that would be speculation, but you get where my thoughts are going regarding you.

  • The important part is to make your subscription to your car and your subscription to your house a big enough part of your pay check, so that you are afraid if you use too much electricity your budget for your food will not be enough. For everyone else make sure they need Netflix, HBO, YouTube premium, reddit coins, and every thing else to get into the same situation

Then make it so you are afraid to lose your job because you can't save up for a rainy day fund.

Then be afraid of the rain

Now the rest is slowly boiling the frog, so you are used to it

  • This is the easiest thing for people with money, and motivation to avoid happening.

Remove the sim card if it's an older device, use a Faraday cage (your microwave is one) or a jammer. If you are the government you can also tell the telecom to block the phone from connecting

  • Hahahaha, this is almost what happened to my daughter 2 years ago.

Neighbor is Vi, wife is Filipina. I don't know why the viet neighbor family don't celebrate Halloween, they are catholics (don't know how many viet are) and their youngest kid is a teenager. But that is their business, so I don't put my nose down that rabbit hole. Daughter then 3, rings their door bell for trick or treat. She insisted, in ringing their doorbell, it's the only house she insisted rining, why? Because we told her trick or treating is going out to scare the neighbors. And the word neighbor is mostly used to our next door Viet neighbors, because our doors are so close.

Anyway, daughter ring the door bell. They don't have anything ready, the mother goes and gets a pack of instant noodles for my daughter. This made my daughter so happy, all the candy she got was secondary to this pack of instant noodles. The memory of these noodles outlived the memory of any candy she got both two years ago and last year. She rang the door bell again this year but they didn't open, she now 5, was mildly sad that she didn't get another pack of noodles.

  • I don't know how to windows, but in Linux I just disable the power button on my laptop. Long press still works, this was to avoid accidentally putting the laptop to sleep when accidentally pressing the power button
