  • Why is the buzz around passkeys is back? I am seeing them way more often than they used to be. I think I have created passkeys for 2 apps and don't even know how that worked, it such a breeze that almost felt it wasn't secure lol.

In what ways the passkeys are different than authenticator apps?

  • I feel 64gb should be the minimum. I had 32gb phone which I used for 6yrs and I used it without SD card. I could run it that long because I had unlimited gphotos backup which came with a custom ROM and I always has to clean it every month or so to have around 2gb free. Now I upgraded to 128gb, let's see how it goes. Idk if I should opt to an SD card.

  • Since the discussion has come up, let me ask this here.

I have been using Mull for sometime now. It's all good but are there any forks of Firefox that are like chromium forks eg Cromite? Cromite is really good as it offers a ton of extra features too. Mull is great as far as privacy is concerned but I want few features as well. Especially if I could change the app logo and launch animation to stock Firefox that'd be great.

  • Afaik new feature in android 15

Edit: Nvm, just read the article, apparently a feature in latest OneUI. So unless you use Samsung you wouldn't know it. That aside, with android 15 you will get some sort of "feature" which discourages sideloading.

  • What is it?

Edit: I just searched about it and wow. Didn't know we have alternative to SimpleTools available already. I have been using the old Simple Notes despite the news of its acquisition out of laziness and not it's the time to switch. Thanks.

  • The other day, I was chatting on a Discord server about how people manage their photos, which keep piling up each year. I asked which cloud service they use, and one person replied, 'Save them offline.' That really struck me because I haven't invested in offline storage devices in years, and I realized I wasn't storing anything offline.

  • I am trying both the ways nowadays. Sometimes I wake up early to avoid the rush and I feel so groggy waking up earlier than usual that I slow-mo the morning routine. Sometimes when I wake up little late, I'm fully wake from the get go that I manage to rush through the routine. In both cases I reach the end around similar times. I am not sure which one I prefer, maybe not sticking to one makes the morning a little less boring.
